Spray the air fryer basket thoroughly with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.

In a small bowl, combine softened salted butter, minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, dried dill, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well incorporated. Set aside.

Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper according to taste.

Place lemon slices evenly in the bottom of the air fryer basket. Lay the seasoned salmon fillets on top of the lemon slices. Add a dollop of lemon garlic dill butter atop each fillet.

Cook salmon at 390°F (199°C) for approximately 10 minutes, adjusting time based on fillet thickness. Salmon is ready when it flakes easily in the center but remains moist.

Optionally, add an extra dollop of lemon garlic dill butter to each fillet before serving. Ideal accompaniments include steamed asparagus or a crisp green salad.
