Place chicken wings in the slow cooker and toss with half a cup of buffalo sauce to coat evenly.

Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours for fresh wings or 3 to 4 hours for frozen wings until cooked through and tender.

Preheat the broiler in your oven to high heat for finishing the wings.

Remove wings from the slow cooker and arrange on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Brush with the remaining buffalo sauce and broil for 5 to 10 minutes, turning halfway through, until the skin is crisp and golden.
