07 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
08 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

# Step-by-Step Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease and flour a 9.25 x 5.25 x 2.75-inch loaf pan.
02 - Lightly toast walnuts in a skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly. Coarsely chop and allow to cool.
03 - In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
04 - Mash bananas with a fork to a chunky consistency. Mix into the butter-sugar mixture along with beaten eggs until fully incorporated.
05 - In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the banana mixture and stir until combined.
06 - Stir in vanilla extract, toasted walnuts, and raisins. Mix just until evenly distributed.
