In the same skillet, sauté sliced onions and bell pepper for 5 minutes until soft but still crisp. Set aside.

Spread frozen waffle fries evenly in the skillet. Top with 3–4 cheese slices, then layer half the steak and sautéed vegetables. Repeat with remaining steak, vegetables, and cheese.
