Using a serrated knife, cut the loaf into 1.5 to 2-inch slices without cutting all the way through, leaving about 1/2 inch intact at the bottom.

In a bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, olive oil, salt, pepper, and shredded cheeses. Mix until well incorporated.

Spread the garlic butter mixture between each slice of bread evenly.

Insert mozzarella slices between the bread slices over the garlic butter if using.

Wrap the stuffed loaf in aluminum foil and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.
